RECOM’s Powerline consists of a clearly structured set of product lines starting at 8W in DIP24 packages, available in either 2:1 and 4:1 input ranges and also in through-hole or SMD-pinning, up to 60W in the classical 2”x2” package, all with industry standard pin-outs. However, the highlight is the new 15W series, which is also available in either 2:1 or 4:1 versions and has recently been extended to include single or dual outputs to coincide with the release of RECOM’s 2008 catalogue. What is so special about the 15W converters? They measure just 1”x1” while keeping the standard pin-out and specifications as the conventional 1”x2” package! Thus, they save 50% board space without compromising on performance. |

Customers with need for wider operating temperature range now can order the Powerline products with a heat sink already pre-mounted. A silicon pad ensures optimum thermal contact of the heat sink with the case and the mounting clamps ensure that the converters can be as easily vertically mounted as horizontally. The heat sink extends the operating temperature range by more than +10°C compared to the standard version.
Also the AC/DC portfolio of RECOM’s powerline has been improved and extended. A new, medically approved, 20W universal input voltage compact AC/DC module and an improved 60W universal input voltage AC/DC module for PCB-mounting have also been released. Optional specials like extended temperature range (option –E) and screw terminal DIN rail/ panel mount (option –ST) were also introduced for most product lines in RECOM’s Powerline AC/DC portfolio. |
